Our luxury log cabin is for rent and the best way to unwind and relax on vacation! You get away from sleeping in a boring hotel room, from those motel rooms surrounded by smelly people. Lodging in the ambiance of a log cabin in the woods in the hills sets you free from the mundane. In a cabin, you get away from other people and are really free to unwind and let all the stress go, truly a spa vacation feeling, without the spa vacation price.

You wake up in the morning to birds singing not to honking horns in the parking lot, to the smells of fresh air and not chlorine from the pool. And when you look out your window you see magnificent views not concrete walls. Simply open the door to your naturally relaxing log cabin and take it easy on the porch - the perfect way to rest and enjoy time off from life's responsibilities. We have wonderful tin roofs; sleeping under the sound of a tin roof is marvelous and about dark we have the sound of whippoorwills..

Our log cabin rentals are completely furnished - from the kitchen to the towels in the bathroom and fresh sheets on the comfortable beds to a washer & dryer. The cabin is heated and cooled with a heat pump.  And has a full front porch topped off with a Sweetheart glider and nice deck outback. Your cabin is in the middle of the woods with brooks and streams with several species of song birds, humming birds and wildlife - no artificial sound relaxation cd needed.  Nature and a bathroom with a whirlpool tub, what else do you need?  well....besides maybe a TV with dvd player and satellite dish? Oh yeah we got that too.

You don't need to drive far since our cabin is located right where you want to be. Within a few miles are several State Parks and trails for hiking, horseback riding, mountain biking, backpacking or off-road vehicles. Old mans cave and other caves in the Hocking hills are only minutes away. Several lakes for fishing, boating and swimming. We also have historic covered bridges, quilt barns, and a haunted railroad tunnel within driving distance. Or just stay in and eat, the kitchen is a dream and equipped with electric stove, side by side refrigerator with ice maker, dishwasher,  and a microwave with built in pizza oven!

The cabin is surrounded by rural roads to bike ride and walk along and the hills have terrific views, it is a wonderful place to stay awhile or even just for a day. Old mans cave and other caves in the Hocking hills are just minutes away.

 Friday and Saturday $160 a night.
 Sunday thru Thursday  $135 a night. The price is based on double occupancy.
